Hiding your habits
- If you find you must go to a family or somewhat thing, get something reasonable like a muffin, and just carry it around with you.
- Put dishes in the sink, leave evidence from what you've eaten
- Don't forget to get rid of food you were supposed to eat
- Put your diet pills in a vitamin bottle
- Don't tell people you think you are fat
- Invet some mysterious illness, wich will be a good excuse not to eat!
- Don't raise suspicions, once people realize what you are doing, they'll watch and monitor you every minute. Start hiding your habits and practices from day one, so no one has ever seen any of it. When one thinks your anorexic, there is nothing you can say to convince them you're not.
- Check the fridge when no one is around. Get some food, prepare it, and then trow it away. For example, some eggs.. get three eggs and some butter, bake the eggs, throw them on a plate with some bread, and then dispose them. Leave silverwhere too!
- Don;t ever talk about food with other people, they'll think that your obsessed if you do this too much. And, talking about food may raise the question of you already ate. In case they do, have your excuses ready: 'My stomach is upset' ' I'm to exited/nervous/busy etc. to eat' 'I don't feel like....' 'I'm not hungry yet, I'll get something later'
- Spend different meals with different groups of people, tell them all that you had a big meal earlier or will be eating something later on. Make sure the different people will not be comparing notes. Or plan your schedule so you're too busy at mealtimes to eat then.
- Trash. Watch where you dispose of uneaten food or other "evidence", make sure that it isn't going to be seen or found by anyone. Wrap food up and throw it away outside the house. If you live alone, always take the trash out before anyone else comes over.
- Buy food. People are fairly predictable. If they see you buy food and come home with food, then they just naturally assume that you eat it as well. Get things like crackers and cookies , keep them in your room, and carefully pack them out again later to throw away. Careful, this can be a little dangerous if you're prone to binging and have trouble keeping food around, or if you feel guilty about throwing food away. If the food's something you don't like and won't binge on this may be easier to do.
- Don't get angry. Don't deny everything if confronted. People will believe a little truth with a big lie much easier than a huge lie. Act as if it's no big deal instead of reacting emotionally and people will tend to believe you.
- Tell people you're on a diet, you became a vegetarian, your doctor has you eating only certain things, whatever. Often people will be very helpful in keeping you from eating if they think there's a socially acceptable reason for it.
- Don't show off your weight loss until you've reached the weight you want to remain at. People will start to watch you more carefully and maybe ask questions, and you want to avoid calling attention to yourself.

This is fucking disgraceful. By putting up tips to hide this ILLNESS, you are aiding in the continuation of other peoples suffering. Anorexia kills more people than any other mental disorder. By putting bullshit like this up you are responsible for the effects these words have on others. YOUNG, impressionable girls/boys could be reading these things and you are directly aiding them in their spiral downwards. Get help- you need it and stop promoting anorexia like it's a good thing.

My boyfriend won't allow me to have scales anymore so I have no idea where i am at. I am trying to just go by measurements but i am afraid to eat anything at all! Because i don't think this is a reliable way to track my weight loss. I still need to loose about 25 pounds because i gained so much in inpatient. I know i am over 100. My skinny jeans are too tight. I am freaking out!

To those of you that are trying to avoid eating in front of your parents - When mealtime comes, just eat half your food and spread the rest around on your plate so it looks like you ate a lot (don't worry you can always take laxatives or purge afterwards to get rid of it). Then instead of throwing the rest of your food away, put it in a plastic container and tell your parents that you are full but will finish the rest for breakfast/lunch the next day. Then when they aren't home - or rather when they're nowhere near the kitchen - throw the leftovers away and put the plastic container(s) in the sink along with some silverware. I've been doing this for almost a year and so far it's worked everytime I've tried it. The only other piece of advice I have is don't make a habbit of whatever you try. You can't refuse to eat every single night without your parents asking questions, it's just not possible. So I recommend only doing what I've stated above once or twice a week so your parents don't get suspicious. The other nights, try to finish everything on your plate. Again don't worry, you can take laxatives or purge or whatever it is you do to get rid of food, no big deal. Hope this helps you guys. Stay strong, stay beautiful! :) <3

This method is a lot safer if you just want to lose a few pounds quick. I'm 14 5'2 and 104 lbs, I just want to get down to below 100, not to bad right? I think pro Anna is great as long as you monitor yourself, don't go out of control and take vitamins

That's exactly how I am!! I used to eat 24/7 all I've had today was a bite of a chicken finger a carton of milk and some crackers for dinner (Just so my friends and parents don't think much)
just say you have some homework to finish/a test to study for. works especially well on grades-obssessed parents like mine. go to your room with food, dump it in some container-thing. key step: make sure to stay there for a while so it looks like you actually ate it.
So I'm 132 pounds and I'm supposed to be 100 but nothing works and I tried excersizing so much and my weight is always the same, my boyfriend left me because he said I was fat and now he is dating a super nice girl so it's hard to be mean, I want to be skinny but my parents keep asking me about it and I don't know why but I'm still fat. Ive cut my lunches out of my day but when I get home I can't stop myself from eating. I seriously need to be skinny.

I don't know what to do, my family eat's dinner together every night. And since i have a sister who's very anorectic, they are watching me very carefully.. I can't just skip dinner, for them, it is very important for me to eat dinner.. and they are used to me eating a lot, cause i've had a problem with overeating for years... and now i started to lose weight and skip dinner, and they are watching my every move..
But this have given me many good ideas, which i haven't thought of.. I am so glad i found this page! :)
